By creating a workable budget, you can track cash on hand, expenses, and the revenue you need to keep your business growing (or at least going), according to Nick Kolbenschlag, managing partner and co-founder of Crown Wealth Group .
"When you take the time to put the numbers to paper, you increase your chances of tracking them to ensure your business succeeds, helping you anticipate future needs, spending habits, profits and cash flow," Kolbenschlag told business.com. "Proper budgeting also allows you to identify problems before they become major issues, giving you the ability to course-correct in real time."

Startups : Looking For A Budget Plan? How Much Should A Startup Spend On Security!
Startups are huge and often need a lot of thinking. There are multiple concerns that you have to be very precise about, including how much you’re spending on security. However, anytime this question comes up, almost everyone gives an entirely different answer.
One common concern of all startups and small companies is the dilemma of spending. That is, either they are not spending enough, or they are spending a little too much.
This becomes a significant problem when the major proportion of spending is on things which can’t translate into measurable terms.
FCRA approves budget, extensions - News - Times Record - Fort Smith, AR
While most of the Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority (FCRA) Board of Trustees meeting was standard approvals, one application for extension from Steve and Robyn Dawson raised questions.
Treasurer Don Keesee opened Thursday's meeting by comparing January 2020 numbers with the budget, but noted that it was based on the 2019 budget because they were to vote on the 2020 budget later in the meeting. Some of the nearly $80,000 of income was from leases, but $64,000 of it came from property sales.

Trump Budget Cuts Could Cripple Midwestern Electric Truck Company - Ride by Kelley Blue Book
What’s bad news for General Motors is even worse news for Lordstown Motors, an upstart electric truck company that promised to revitalize a former GM factory in northeastern Ohio. When GM shuttered the plant last year, President Trump did not hide his anger at the American auto giant for closing the sprawling factory.
Lordstown recently offered a peek at its first model, the Endurance, and promised production could begin later this year. With a starting price of $52,500, the Endurance would compete with electric rivals like the upcoming Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian R1T, and electrified versions of the Chevrolet Silverado and Ford F-150. The fledgling truck manufacturer recently scored $40 million worth of funding from none other than GM, the previous owner of the Lordstown factory.
