When the game stopped for a timeout with 10:30 left and Syracuse leading 60-37, many Pitt fans began streaming up the aisles and out into the rainy night.

Syracuse dominated the Panthers from opening tap to final buzzer, leading by 16 points at halftime and as many as 25 in the second half.

Pittsburgh's 49 points were the second-lowest total of the season for the Panthers, who lost 64-46 to Louisville on Dec. 6.

ASU has four finalists for college of business dean - Talk Business & Politics

Four finalists for the position of dean of the Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University will visit the campus for interviews and public presentations, said Dr. Mary Jane Bradley, chair of the search committee.

All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the public presentations. Each candidate’s presentation will begin at 1 p.m. in room 201 of the Delta Center for Economic Development on the ASU campus.

Dr. Kai S. Koong, dean of the Andrew F. Brimmer College of Business and Information Science, Tuskegee University, will make a presentation Friday, Feb. 28.

Chattanooga nonprofits appeal to be exempt from Downtown Business Improvement District fees |

The question of whether some nonprofits will be exempt from fees related to the new Downtown Business Improvement District has been kicked back to the committee that initially recommended the organizations be required to pay the fees .

"The motion is to allow the finance committee to reconsider further information from the nonprofits," said Steve Hunt, chairman of the board of directors for the district, during a board meeting on Wednesday. "This group is not voting today; that's the work of the finance committee."

Business on Tap at Ore Dock talks about hosting events

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) - For the Ore Dock Brewing Company's business on tap Wednesday night they went 'in house'. Lizzie Corser has served as the Ore Dock's Tap Room Manager for the past four years.

"one of the things I've found to be most rewarding here at the brewery is it's been really important for us to cultivate a strong community gathering space and really be a true reflection of our community and that covers events all across the gamut, it's been just a pleasure to be able to work with all of those different community organizations," Corser said.

Rhinelander art studio recognized as first autism friendly business in Central Wisconsin

RHINELANDER, Wis. (WAOW)-- Rhinelander is home to the first certified autism friendly business in Central Wisconsin.

Tom's Drawing Board is a working studio that has a shop and classroom, and it was recognized by the Central Wisconsin Autism Society as an autism friendly business during a celebration Wednesday evening.

"I hope all businesses in the surrounding areas everywhere just takes on this because this is such a great thing to do," said owner and operator Tom Barnett. "It's about inclusion, about offering services for children that would normally not have the opportunities because of their autism. And I think it's fantastic and I think all businesses should do this."
