RIGOP calls on Democrats to return Mattiello money - News - providencejournal.com - Providence,

PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island Republicans think House Democrats should return the $195,000 in campaign donations that House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello has given them over the last decade.

If a Maine candidate for U.S. Senate is reluctant to take Mattiello contributions, as reported by WPRI, then state Republican Party Chairwoman Sue Cienki contends local Democrats should also "stop taking money from our scandalous Speaker...[who] may soon be indicted for criminal conduct."
