A transportation company in York County has launched a sister company that offers sanitizing services.
Business for Bailey Coach , a motorcoach company that is owned by The Bailey Family of Companies, came to a halt in March due to COVID-19. Bailey Coach then began offering sanitizing service to businesses, something that it had already been doing for its 30-vehicle fleet of 55 passenger motorcoaches, vans, sedans and SUVs. It now provide the services for both vehicles and building space that are located within two hours of York.

Beginning Sept. 8, Lyon and Storey counties will begin accepting applications for a small business grant program designed to help businesses deal with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The applications will be accepted through Oct. 6 and grants will be awarded on an as needed and first come first served basis.

Business Relief Fund Tops $1 Million Raised For San Diego Black-Owned Businesses | KPBS

The Central San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce announced Monday that a grant fund created to help Black-owned businesses impacted by COVID-19-related shutdowns has raised more than $1 million.
According to the chamber, nearly 200 businesses have received aid in the first round of funding from the Black Business Relief Grant Fund. Several additional rounds of distribution are anticipated to provide relief to some of the 1,000 businesses that applied.

Monday, San Diego County restaurants, gyms, salons and other businesses are allowed to reopen for indoor operations — with restrictions — but some business owners said they cannot survive on severely limited capacity.

United Airlines Surrenders $625 Million Business By Ending Change Fees
As passenger discontent grew over exorbitant multi-hundred-dollar ticket change fees, United Airlines' then-CEO Jeff Smisek told an industry lunch in 2015 that travellers are "having difficulty recognizing that we're now a business."

United is walking away from no small business. It earned $625 million in change and cancellation fees last year.
Effective immediately United will stop charging change fees on all domestic tickets except those in basic economy. It's for the 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands for an unlimited number of changes. Passengers will have to pay if the new fare is higher, but there's no cost otherwise.
Hillsborough expands coronavirus small business aid

TAMPA — Hillsborough County is expanding financial aid to small businesses affected by the coronavirus pandemic, including earmarking $22 million for companies that qualified for earlier assistance.
"It's a protracted coronavirus event. I don't think anybody knew back months ago when we started the plan we'd still be in this situation,'' said Lindsey Kimball, Hillsborough County's economic development director.
The county condensed earlier versions of its assistance program, announced in June and financed through the federal CARES Act, into a single effort that broadens eligibility and makes more dollars available.
Bergen County NJ: Restaurants among next round of business grants
Restaurants and other food service establishments hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic can apply for emergency funding from Bergen County, according to an announcement from County Executive James Tedesco.
The next three phases of the Bergen County CARES Small Business Grant Program, aimed at helping small businesses through the state-mandated shutdown and other COVID-19 related restrictions, opened Monday, and for one week will be offered only to food service establishments.
