Global Business Daily: JPMorgan moves, German budget, cheaper Tesla - CGTN

"Irrespective of the outcome of negotiations between the UK and EU, traders will face new customs controls and processes. Simply put, if traders, both in the UK and EU, have not completed the right paperwork, their goods will be stopped when entering the EU and disruption will occur."

This is how UK cabinet minister Michael Gove, in a letter to logistics groups, explained the government's analysis of the potential disruptions that might affect imports and exports once the Brexit transition period ends.

How IT Pros Can Earn Budget from Key Stakeholders - My TechDecisions

As a technology manager in the IT department, a major part of your job will be researching, estimating, and justifying the purchase of technology for your organization. However, you'll rarely be the one to approve the technology budget.

Often, someone from management or the C-Suite is going to come to you with an initiative for a new technology project. That's how a project is going to get started.

The variables from there are plenty — they could just be asking for research, they could want you to get the ball moving, they could have a set budget already in place. However, for the most part, you won't be the driving force behind a technology project.

Royal Crest demolition to proceed below budget | Featured-ght | petoskeynews.com

GAYLORD — Otsego County is likely to spend around $364,000 less on the upcoming demolition of Royal Crest Motel than initially estimated.

County commissioners this week awarded a bid of $129,669 to hire a contractor to tear down the abandoned building at 803 S. Otsego Ave. in Gaylord. That work is still planned before the end of the year. Bolle Contracting, a company based in Clare, will complete the job. Their bid came in the lowest out of the 12 submissions the county collected in late August. The next lowest bid was exactly $70,000 more.
