Oxyrase of Mansfield has been awarded a patent developed by James C. Copeland of Mansfield for "methods for inhibiting tumor growth using anaerobe microorganisms."
Mansfield Engineered Components has been assigned a patent developed by James Collene of Bucyrus for an "appliance lid hinge assembly with snubber."

“This year we’re down 50% in sales, and if the first half of next year has a slow recovery, then next year might be down 25%, and then we get back to normal in 2022,” Shaw, a partner with ARP told ALXnow. “Right now we’re worried about the winter and what happens when nobody wants to sit outside and we have to survive on to-go orders, which a lot of restaurants can’t do.”

Businesses Urging Leaders to Act Fast on Relief Funding
WASHINGTON — Small business owners and advocates are sounding off as members of Congress negotiate another round of coronavirus relief funding. They're urging lawmakers to make some changes to the rescue program and quickly before they're forced to close their doors for good.
"We received the first round of PPP, after about 8 weeks, the funds ran out," said Luisa Santos, the owner of Lulu's Ice Cream in Miami.
"All of us are making decisions day by day to do what it takes to survive, another day, another week, another month. For us, the PPP allowed me to keep my employees and now without additional help, we are making tough decisions," Santos explained.
Portland business group gives Metro counteroffer: Retract transportation bond and work on scaled
The president of Portland's powerful chamber of commerce said Friday his organization does not support a compromise transportation package floated by Metro Council President Lynn Peterson that would scale back a proposed payroll tax hike for employers, and he called on the regional government to go back and slim down its project list.
Andrew Hoan, president of the Portland Business Alliance, said the chamber's board of directors appreciated Peterson's attempt to "revive a collaborative process" regarding the proposed $7 billion transportation bond headed to voters in November. But the board rejected Peterson's offer to lower the proposed payroll tax on employers from .75% to .60 in exchange for the alliance's pledge not to fight the bond at the ballot box this fall and meet a few other requests.

The U.S. Air Force awarded billions in contracts Friday to Elon Musk’s SpaceX and United Launch Alliance, a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and Boeing, as part of its National Security Space launch services.

ULA will receive $337 million for two launches in 2022, and SpaceX will receive $316 million for one launch that same year. ULA will get 60% and SpaceX will get 40% of the launch contracts after that, which will total billions of dollars.
