The uncertainties due to the pandemic are making the annual budgeting and planning process especially challenging. Instead of the conventional predict, command, and control approach, companies should focus on learning, adapting, and growing — not on trying to predict the unpredictable. They should shift the focus from financial precision to strategic success.
It's August, and you know what that means. Leadership teams are launching annual business planning and budgeting processes, all too aware that the current year's plans went kaput sometime around March thanks to the pandemic.
Many things are taking place:
Asus might be working on four budget smartphones - GSMArena.com news
According to a new leak, things might change soon, as Asus is currently working on four devices, with chipsets codenamed "Lito", "Lagoon", "Bengal", and "Scuba". We have a pretty good idea which chipsets these names refer to and all of them are midrange to low-end parts.
The "Lito" moniker is likely the Snapdragon 765/765G, while "Lagoon" is probably the Snapdragon 690. Both of these modern mid-range parts, notably with efficient 5G modems included right on the chipset itself.

OnePlus Clover: Why OnePlus is launching a budget phone in 2020 (and why it will succeed) |
OnePlus is working on an entry-level phone codenamed Clover that will make its debut later in the year. The phone will launch in the U.S. and other global markets for around $200, and comes with a 3.5mm jack, 720p display, 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage, and a massive battery.
An entry-level phone goes against OnePlus' ethos of delivering the best possible performance on all of its phones. In fact, during the launch of the Nord , OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei said that the reason the company went with a Snapdragon 765G chipset instead of the Snapdragon 800 series was because the performance with the 765G is on par with flagships.
