Cuts were widespread and ran deep. Staff, collections, equipment and facilities at even the wealthiest institutions were affected.

While tough economic times call for all areas of an institution to tighten belts, libraries seemed to be particularly adversely impacted by the recession. Library budgets as a percentage of total institutional spending shrank , and in some places they never fully recovered.

WWE will be making major budget cuts across all departments in the company | Wrestling News

As noted earlier, Vince McMahon scheduled a conference call with employees for noon eastern to address the state of the company. Wrestlers and employees have been worried for weeks about potential budget cuts and that is what is happening.

McMahon told his staff that he will be making the tough decision to furlough some of the staff due to the financial hit the company is taking because of the coronavirus outbreak. McMahon also stated that pay would be reduced for Board Members and Executives.
