Nat’l day of action held over ‘unpaid’ overtime pay of teachers – Manila Bulletin

To press the government to pay the "overtime" they rendered in School Year (SY) 2020-2021, teachers nationwide held a national day of action on Friday, Nov. 26.

Teachers' unions under the Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) Philippines held a protest action to urge the government to settle the overdue compensation for their overtime in the last school year.

Martinsville investigating overtime pay of city employee; council denied access to records

MARTINSVILLE — The executive branch of the city of Martinsville is investigating the overtime pay of a city employee, Mayor Kenny Costin announced Monday.

During the Martinsville Common Council meeting, Costin said he is launching the inquiry after learning that there were concerns over the employee's overtime pay.
