On Tuesday, the Travis County Commissioners Court fielded discussion and informational updates in regard to the Historically Underutilized Businesses program performance in 2021.

According to Texas Health and Human Services, the program is "committed to ensuring that women, minority and service-disabled-veteran-owned businesses get a fair opportunity to compete for all contracts directly and indirectly through subcontracting."

Ford Steps Into the Chips Business - WSJ

Ford Motor Co. is looking to get into the semiconductor business, after a year of computer-chip shortages that snarled its global factory output.

ADM Buys Stake in Startup Farmers Business Network - WSJ

Archer Daniels Midland Co. invested in Farmers Business Network and announced a partnership with the agricultural technology firm aimed at making it easier to track the carbon footprint of crops from the planting stage.
