Drivers scramble for cash after truck drops money on highway

At about 9 a.m. local time, an armored truck heading to the Federal Reserve from a local bank dropped two bags of money after a door popped open on northbound I-5 near Cannon Rd.

The cash scattered across the northbound and southbound lanes, causing a massive backup on the northbound side as drivers stopped and parked on the shoulder.

Burglar tries fishing for money orders with mousetrap

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a man tried using mousetraps to fish money orders and checks from a leasing office dropbox in Cordova before breaking in with a crowbar.

Surveillance photos show the man wearing a red hoodie and holding a long rope at the entry to the office of The View at Shelby Farms apartments on Country Squire Lane around midnight Nov. 5.

PGA Tour outlines to players massive increases in prize money and bonus pools for 2022 | Golf

The PGA Tour announced to its membership Monday significant increases coming to its prize money and payout structures for the new year.

The financial details were explained to PGA Tour players in a memo sent to them by commissioner Jay Monahan and first reported by the Associated Press and Golfweek followed by multiple other media outlets. The increases include bumps in purses, bonuses and FedEx Cup allotment.
