Oshkosh Streetwise: What local business stories do you want to see?

The thing I missed most about reporting, it turns out, is how connected it makes me feel to my community. The reason I love this industry is because reporters are people just like you, who want to know more about what makes their communities so special.

It's been an exciting first couple months, but I can't wait to dig further, and I want to know: What does Streetwise mean to you? What stories do you want to see? What restaurants and/or businesses should I check out?

Years ago, enslaved people would jump over the broom to marry since they could not legally wed. “And actually when I do my product I send out a little bit about the history incase they want to put it in the ceremony if they have a bridal party or anything like that,” said Jones.
