Euro zone business boom roared on in August -PMI | Reuters

LONDON, Aug 23 (Reuters) - Business activity in the euro zone grew strongly again this month, only dipping from July's two-decade high monthly pace, as a rapid vaccination drive against the coronavirus allowed more firms to reopen and customers to venture out, a survey showed.

PITTSFIELD — In early 2021, with grant support from the Mass Development Collaborative Workspace program, the Berkshire Innovation Center (BIC) launched an Augmented/Virtual and Mixed Reality Simulation (Sim) Lab in a dedicated space at its Pittsfield, Massachusetts facility.

In further support of the project, General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) recently donated 15 brand-new Microsoft HoloLens Commercial Suite (1st Generation) mixed reality headsets, valued at $5,000 per set.

The country's top auto-safety agency announced the broadest investigation yet into Tesla's assisted-driving technology, which it calls Autopilot, prompted by at least 11 accidents in which Teslas crashed into parked emergency vehicles.

Twenty-six years after Amazon sold its first book, it surpassed Walmart in total sales. The value of all things sold on Amazon, by it and its third-party sellers, surpassed $610 billion in the 12 months through June, according to estimates compiled by FactSet.

WV SBDC names new business coaches in statewide network | State Journal News | wvnews.com

Business set to return to former East Millinocket paper mill - Portland Press Herald

EAST MILLINOCKET — The company on track to become the first tenant at the shuttered East Millinocket paper mill could take in 12,000 tons of wood chips each year.

Norway sets panel to evaluate marijuana business applicants | News, Sports, Jobs - The Daily

NORWAY — The Norway City Council has appointed three people to a committee that will sort, review and score applications to operate marijuana businesses within the city.

City Manager Ray Anderson, Allison Kalcec and Bruce Hawkinson were named to the committee required by the city’s marijuana ordinance to establish a competitive process for applicants.
