Accounting platform Synder raises $2M to automate e-commerce bookkeeping – TechCrunch

As Synder 's two co-founders Michael Astreiko and Ilya Kisel wrap up their time at Y Combinator, they also announced their seed round of $2 million from TMT Investments.

Though the round was acquired before going into the accelerator program, the Belarus-based pair wanted to wait to publicly share the milestone. As they focus their sights on their next journey of growth and expansion, the new funding will go toward attracting more clients, visibility and sales.

Peloton cuts bike price, discloses accounting problem | Ad Age

Shares in the fitness company fell as much as 15% to $97 in extended trading following the release of its quarterly results and a worse-than-expected outlook for fiscal 2022.

The changes help remove a barrier for consumers, Peloton said, but will take a toll on sales and profit in the coming months. The company warned that its adjusted loss would be $325 million in the current fiscal year, and its sales this quarter will miss Wall Street estimates.

Student, mom, employee wins national accounting scholarship | University of Hawaiʻi System News

A University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business undergraduate student is the state's lone recipient of a $10,000 national scholarship to benefit outstanding students who are likely to pursue a career as an auditor.
