WASHINGTON — Following a 38% increase in its fiscal 2023 budget request, the U.S. Space Force expects the upward funding trajectory to continue next year, according to a senior official.

This $157,833,564 million budget is about $14.9 million more than 2022's budget, a 9.4% increase. This is a considerable difference, as the budget increase between 2021 to 2022 was only 4.6% or $6.5 million.
MCCSC's budget is broken into five funds: education, operations, debt service, school pension debt and referendum. The education fund, which pays teacher and building-level administrators' salaries and benefits, takes up the bulk of the budget, totaling $76.8 million in 2023.
