As the global crypto market struggles to surpass $1 trillion in cumulative market cap, Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary believes that potential upcoming stablecoin regulations could be the next thing to fuel the market.

O’Leary believes that the Stablecoin Transparency Act has a chance of passing in the U.S. after the Nov. 8 midterm elections. He stated, “Now, this has nothing to do with Bitcoin, but it has a lot to do with the tone of regulation.

Mann, colleagues seek clarification on new CDL regulations | Ag News | hpj.com

U.S. Rep. Tracey Mann, R-KS, led 34 of his colleagues to send a letter to Robin Hutcheson, administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regarding the new Entry-Level Driver Training regulations.

On Feb. 7, FMCSA implemented ELDT regulations as previously directed by Congress. Under these regulations, new drivers can only take a Commercial Driver's License exam once they have been trained by an entry-level training provider certified by the FMCSA.

Secaucus ordinance would iron out regulations for vaping vendors - Hudson Reporter

The DOL's proposed independent contractor regulations: What will change?

On Tuesday, we published a bulletin noting that the U.S. Department of Labor had issued proposed regulations on determining whether a worker was an “employee” or an “independent contractor” for purposes of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.

The FLSA’s minimum wage, overtime pay, and recordkeeping requirements apply only to covered employees. Workers who are independent contractors are not covered by these provisions.
