According to the U.S. Department of Labor, Succasunna-based Fullerton Landscapes and its owner, Douglas B. Fullerton, illegally denied time-and-a-half pay for working more than 40 hours in a week to 32 employees.
Jackson Healthcare Unit's Deal to Settle Overtime Suit Approved
A nearly $2 million agreement between staffing company Jackson Nurse Professionals LLC and nursing employees to settle class overtime-pay claims warrants final approval, a federal court in California ruled.
No objectors among the 294 notified class and collective members have opposed the settlement, Judge Fernando M. Olguin said for the US District Court for the Central District of California. The highest payout will exceed $35,000, he said.
