How economics will impact local communities

I received a few responses last year when I wrote on the topic of inflation and the negative impact on our local communities. Many indicated inflation wasn't going to be problematic and we had nothing to worry about.

While directed at every American, it is also directed at every business and community. Let's revisit inflation, product shortages and labor costs and how that impacts every community, regardless of size in a very big way.

Chevening alumni present public policy and behavioural economics manual in Honduras - GOV.UK

Latin Americans who studied their master's degree in the United Kingdom with the Chevening scholarship released a study.

The alumni participating in this initiative were Sofía Maradiaga, from Honduras, studied a Master's in Behavioural Economics at the University of Warwick; Santiago García, from Venezuela, and Santiago Borda from Colombia. Isabel Bazán, Ph.D candidate in Economics at Virginia Tech also contributed.

The nations of Artland and Rayland each produce hats and bicycles. What if one country produces headwear and the other churns out two-wheeled vehicles, and, then, they start trading?

The class was hashing out an international trade exercise between the two fictional countries. Meng and fellow Davidson student Peter Clark were teaching how to determine measures such as opportunity cost and which country should specialize in which good.
