The advertising industry, plagued last year by pandemic-driven budget cuts, is poised to return stronger than ever in 2021 and beyond, according to several new forecasts.
Be smart: The quick turnaround means that the ad market is recovering faster than it did following the 2008 recession.
Why it matters: In a recession, marketing budgets are typically the first expense cut from a company's budget. But because the government injected so much stimulus into the economy, initial fears of a prolonged consumer spending slump have subsided.
Black Hills Energy to spread natural gas costs over three years to counteract February spikes -
In response to the historic February winter weather that caused massive increases in Iowa natural gas prices, Black Hills Energy is working with the Iowa Utilities Board (IUB) to mitigate the costs on customers, including spreading those costs over a three-year period.
"The financial well-being of our customers is important to us, and we recognize how these additional costs can impact a family budget," Shirley Welte, vice president of Iowa operations, said. "We remain committed to supporting reasonable energy costs. Spreading the cost over the course of 3-years will result in a lessened impact to bills during the 3-year period."
Fury to Drill Western Extension Targets at Eau Claire
TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / April 12, 2021 / Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX:FURY)(NYSE American:FURY) ("Fury" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update on its exploration plans at the high-grade Eau Claire project located in the Eeyou Istchee Territory in the James Bay region of Quebec. Fury has identified two target areas on the western limit of the resource that have the potential to significantly expand the deposit.
These targets are located below an area called the 850 zone and were developed through an increased understanding of the structural and lithological controls on mineralization within the deposit (Figure 1). Primarily using lithogeochemistry data, Fury's technical team was able to define individual rock packages and their relative position within the anticline, which is the main structural control on the Eau Claire deposit.
Xiaomi Launches Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 Pro in Kenya
Xiaomi Redmi Note series is now available in Kenya. Xiaomi Kenya launched the new devices under the company's budget Redmi series on Saturday. The company globally launched Redmi Note 10 series in February.
Under the Redmi Note 10 series, there are two models available in Kenya – the vanilla Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro. There's also a Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, but that isn’t coming to Kenya.
The two available models have refreshed designs and still aim to provide value for money like the previous Redmi Note 9 launched in 2020.
