Immune Biosolutions (IBio), a Sherbrooke, Que.-based biotechnology company, is developing an immunotherapy based on newly identified antibodies to treat and possibly prevent COVID-19. The company has reached out to the government on the COVID-19 Advancement of Vaccines and Therapeutics (SIF Program).
Two Edmonton-based companies are also hoping to open discussions with the government on COVID related matters: Entos Pharmaceuticals, which is hoping to secure federal support for the development of a "made in Canada" COVID-19 vaccine, and Viral Sentinel/ Go North Group, which is seeking funding to develop a manufacturing facility for antibody testing kits, as well as a government contract for the kits themselves.

Snowflake's revenues are on track to expand at an annual rate of over 140% between FY'19 and FY'21 (fiscal years end January) as demand for its cloud-based product has soared. FY'21 revenues are expected to stand at roughly $580 million, per consensus estimates, when the company reports its results during the first week of March.
