Tom van den Heuvel knows what it takes to grow a business successfully, as he's growth-hacked a startup from the ground up to create one of the fastest growing tech companies in Europe. He founded his company, Dealify, to help other marketers grow their brands successfully, quickly, and on a budget.
"We make it easier for people to create, grow, and scale their businesses, without breaking the bank," said the team at Dealify.

On Travel: Don't overspend on vacation!
When it comes to making a travel budget, it's all about the spreadsheet for Kathy Lopez. When she started planning a future trip to Europe with her friends, she put every expense into Microsoft Excel to determine how much the month-long adventure would cost.
"We're going to save a lot of money and planning time on the road," says Lopez, a retired city manager from Prescott, Arizona.
If your eyes glazed over when you saw the word "spreadsheet," please keep reading. Travel companies don't want you to make a budget. They'd prefer that you mindlessly swipe your credit card at the ticket counter, the front desk, the restaurant. You'll spend more, and you could end up in debt.
Madison County board continues budget talks | News | norfolkdailynews.com
MADISON — With many businesses struggling because of the economic shutdown from COVID-19, coupled with significant increases in property valuations, the warning has gone out from businesses to keep government spending down.
That's partially why the Madison County board of commissioners issued a simple directive at the first budget discussion last month — limit employee salary increases to 2% and freeze the rest of the budgets.

"We also recognize if it was in cycle of someone's budget to purchase something or add something, we didn't want to necessarily restrict that," Uhlir said.
OnePlus Nord vs. iPhone SE: Which budget phone will win? | Tom's Guide
The iPhone SE may be a small phone, but it's very big on value. Apple's entry-level smartphone delivers some premium features, highlighted by the same class-leading A13 Bionic processor that powers Apple's more expensive iPhones. It's no wonder the iPhone SE quickly established itself as the best cheap phone you can currently buy.
OnePlus clearly took notice. It's about to release a budget phone of its own, the OnePlus Nord . And while we'll have to wait for the July 21 launch event to fully see how OnePlus hopes to compete in the budget phone space, enough details about the phone have been leaked — or confirmed by the company — that we have a pretty good idea about what the OnePlus Nord has to offer.

Olena Rotari: Trukhanov & Co.
Last week, detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, or NABU, conducted mass searched across various districts of Odesa. The criminal proceedings looked into the organization of a criminal group, the fraud of Odesa City Hall, and the appropriation of money from the city's budget.

And, indeed, why shouldn't Truchanov and Company launder budget money abroad? If tomorrow Russian troops arrived, they would be standing in front of the Mayor's Administration waving Russian tricolors. They have no sense of loyalty or accountability towards Ukrainians or the Ukrainian state except to milk it/them for all it's worth. In fact, they don't even try very hard to disguise their sentiments.

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. (AP) — Georgia's largest public transit system plans to require riders to wear masks to protect against the coronavirus. The decision comes even though Republican Gov. Brian Kemp insists mask orders from local governments aren't enforceable because he hasn't mandated them. MARTA, the main public transit system serving Atlanta and nearby suburbs, will require that riders wear masks on trains and buses systemwide beginning Monday.

ATLANTA (AP) — Figures released Friday show Georgia's state government preliminarily closed out its 2019-2020 budget year with a $1 billion drop in tax collections. But the real budget shortfall won't be known for weeks yet as state officials await delayed income tax receipts. Whatever the budget hole ends up being, Gov. Brian Kemp and lawmakers have agreed it will be filled using the state's rainy day fund. It had $2.8 billion at the beginning of the year.
Giants' CEO Larry Baer talks Buster Posey, tough budget cuts, long-term financial future –
SAN FRANCISCO — Since the coronavirus pandemic shut down much of the nation's economy in March, few industries have been immune from staggering financial losses and unforeseen challenges.

"I think in the near term, yes, there will be losses and we're not going to bemoan them," Baer said. "But when you have your revenue cut by pick your number, 80%, 90% this year or whatever it turns out to be without fans, and then next year hopefully we'll get as full of a ballpark as we can, that revenue shortfall is just natural. It's the rhythm of the business and it's going to cause losses."
