Senators follow House to overtime pay for drivers bill | Overdrive

Arlington firefighters suing city for overtime pay | wfaa.com

ARLINGTON, Texas — Deputy chiefs with the Arlington Fire Department are suing the city, arguing they're owed more than $250,000 in overtime pay. 

The suit was filed in the Tarrant County Courthouse Wednesday morning by deputy chiefs Troy Brooks and Scott Hofstrom.

A former Lake County sheriff's deputy has been charged with allegedly falsifying his pay records to earn overtime for work he did not do, authorities said.

Gregory Swanson, 54, of the Grayslake area, was charged Sept. 13 with two counts of official misconduct and two counts of theft, the sheriff's office said.

Former BPD report technician sentenced for fraudulently collecting overtime pay

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A former Buffalo Police Department report technician has been sentenced for fraudulently collecting overtime pay.

The Erie County District Attorney's Office announced that 54-year-old Monica Lalley was sentenced Wednesday in Erie County Court to a one-year conditional discharge and was ordered to perform 100 hours of community service. She also signed a Confession of Judgment to pay full restitution.

Staff in eThekwini's Water unit protest over cuts in overtime pay

$53k in overtime paid by Denver Sheriff Department | 9news.com

DENVER — When police and sheriff's departments can't hire enough officers to fill all their shifts, taxpayers foot the bill.

In the first half of this year, the Denver Sheriff Department and Denver Police Department (DPD) spent nearly $18,000 in taxpayer dollars on overtime pay for officers.
