TCSS budget begins to take shape - LaGrange Daily News | LaGrange Daily News

No public comments were received on the budget at Monday's hearing. The second public comment period will be held Monday, May 16, at 5 p.m. The budget will be finalized and approved on June 16.

While revenues in state and local funds are up, expenditures are expected to increase due to fuel and construction price increases.

Hagerstown City Council members preliminarily approve budget

Hagerstown City Council members gave preliminary approval to a proposed $171.2 million budget that keeps the city running in the 2022-2023 fiscal year.

Council members voted unanimously during a special session Tuesday evening to introduce an ordinance implementing the budget and an ordinance implementing tax rates. Both will be up for a final vote next Tuesday.

San Juan County may adopt interim budget at May 24 regular meeting

FARMINGTON — Members of the San Juan County Commission spent more than two hours sifting through the details of the county's Fiscal Year 2023 budget on May 11, a document that is highlighted by increased spending on public safety and merit raises for county employees.

County Manager Mike Stark and his staff presented commissioners with an interim budget of slightly more than $150 million, a total that represents a significant increase over the FY 2022 budget of approximately $120 million.

Davidson County sets modest budget to save for major projects in 2024

The proposed Davidson County 2022-2023 budget doesn't include any tax increases or radical changes, but it is only the calm before the storm as leaders prepare for three major projects for the next budget cycle in 2023-2024.

East Lyme — Residents reviewed and discussed the proposed 2022-23 budget of $80.6 million at the annual town meeting Monday and sent the package on to a budget referendum May 19.

The proposed budget includes $54.1 million for education, $20.2 million for general government, $5.7 million for debt service and $636,860 for capital expenses.
