These antitrust bills pose a threat to Minnesota businesses of any size by introducing overly broad language that puts litigators in the driver seat and gives unnecessary power to the Minnesota attorney general.

Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Framework – Draft Regulations and Guidelines | White & ...

The Australian government has released draft regulations and guidelines for the country's Offshore Electricity Infrastructure (OEI) framework, with public consultation to run until 22 April 2022.

Last year, we reported on the Federal Parliament passing the Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Act 2021 ( OEI Act ) and Offshore Electricity Infrastructure (Regulatory Levies) Act 2021, which establish a framework for regulating electricity infrastructure in Commonwealth waters.

New testing room regulations - Optician

New test chart letters and room illumination standards for optical practices are due to come into force in the UK from 2023.

A consultation has been launched by the Consumer Complaint Service (CCS). The CCS had a total of 11 complaints regarding the threatening sensation and high levels of anxiety caused by visits to opticians for eye tests.

House of Reps Proposes PFAS Clean Air Regulations for EPA

In the latest federal legislative move to try to force the EPA to take quicker action than contemplated by the agency's PFAS Roadmap of 2021, a bill was recently introduced in the House that would require the EPA to set air emission limits for all PFAS under the Clean Air Act.

On March 17, 2022, a bipartisan group in the House introduced the " Prevent Release Of Toxics Emissions, Contamination, and Transfer Act of 2022 " (also known as the PROTECT Act of 2022 or HR 7142).
