Credit Agricole Assurances to buy 49% of Edison's green business | Reuters

MILAN, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Credit Agricole Assurances has agreed to buy a 49% stake in the renewables business of Italian energy group Edison in a deal valuing the unit at more than 2 billion euros ($2.3 billion).

In a joint statement, the two companies said Edison would maintain full control of the business which has an overall installed capacity of 1.1 gigawatts, mainly wind.

AmEx Global Business Travel Going Public Through $5.3 Billion Merger With Apollo SPAC - WSJ

American Express Global Business Travel is merging with a blank-check company backed by Apollo Global Management Inc. to go public with a roughly $5.3 billion valuation, the companies said.

A travel-booking services provider for corporate customers, AmEx Global Business Travel is 50% owned by American Express Co. It is combining with the special-purpose acquisition company Apollo Strategic Growth Capital . The Wall Street Journal previously reported the two sides were nearing a deal.
