RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Riverside County agencies' overtime expenses exceeded $110 million in the previous fiscal year, with the sheriff's department leading the pack, according to a report that the Board of Supervisors signed off on Tuesday.

In a 5-0 vote without comment, the board accepted and filed the Office of the Auditor-Controller's 2020-21 fiscal year "Full Transparency Countywide Overtime Monitoring" assessment, which showed a total of $111.1 million paid out to cover OT costs throughout county government, compared to $116
