Wisconsin alcohol sales, taxes saw big increase in 2020

The state collected 16.6% more in revenue from excise taxes on alcoholic beverages in the last fiscal year that ended June 30, 2021.

The state's revenue from taxes on beer, wine, hard cider or liquor rose from $63.3 million to $73.8 million.

Lafayette County Board of Supervisors approved budget, will increase taxes for 2022 - The Oxford

The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors approved the Fiscal Year 2022 Budget on Tuesday afternoon and raised taxes after four consecutive years unchanging milage rates.

The supervisors voted on the local tax which counts for 60.24% of the source of revenue for Lafayette County. Fines, licenses and other make up 19.75% of the revenue, the states makes up 10.86%, the charges for services 9.02% and federal makes up the remaining 0.12%.

2022 Municipal Taxes Will be Lower than Anticipated Explains Coral Springs City Manager •

Coral Springs residents will pay less in taxes for 2022 than initially proposed over the summer, thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act — and planning.
