FSU College of Business programs rank nationally

On Monday, Sept. 13, U.S. News & World Report's "Best Colleges 2022 Guidebook" ranked Florida State University's College of Business as one of the top business schools in the nation.

Maryville leaders hear from business owner - Nodaway News

Prior to the September 13 Maryville City Council meeting, the Assistant City Manager Ryan Heiland led a special budget workshop which reviewed the Mozingo Recreation Fund budget for 2021-22.

Chamber kicks off National Small Business Week

According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create nearly two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.

Young Englewood resident Eric Sanders has spent the summer in local flower farms nurturing seeds into wild, brilliant bloom. He says the work has given him a new perspective on flowers.

"It made me look at the plants and flowers different. Like I take more care of them," said Sanders. "Sometimes when I was younger I'd just pull 'em, but then I'll be like, 'I work at a flower shop now.'"

USC small business program helps local restaurateur overcome adversity

For more than 45 years, the Dulan family has owned and operated several restaurants in South Los Angeles and the South Bay. Adolf and Mary Dulan provided the foundation for the family business, opening a chain of hamburger stands in the Crenshaw neighborhood of South L.A.

Their son, Greg Dulan, came on board after graduating from Howard University and pursuing a brief stint in corporate banking. He became very familiar with the peaks and valleys of small business ownership.
