Ribs 'n Rods event held to raise money for local organization

HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Hastings Ford Lincoln teamed up with the Midwest Barbecue Association Saturday to host their inaugural "Ribs 'n Rods" event to raise money for a local organization.

Tanner Sterling, general manager for the car dealership, said the idea had originally started after hearing about it through one of their sister dealerships in North Dakota.

Westfield Man Sentenced for Wire Fraud and Money Laundering | USAO-SDIN | Department of Justice

INDIANAPOLIS – A Westfield man was sentenced to 5 years in prison for wire fraud and money laundering. He will also serve 3 years of supervised release and was ordered to pay over $1,500,000 in restitution.

According to court documents, George S. Blankenbaker Jr., 56, was charged April 1, 2021 with wire fraud and money laundering after an investigation by the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation.
