A Long Island Rail Road employee whose father was a Gambino hit man plotted with four co-workers to rack up outrageous overtime without doing any work, prosecutors charged Thursday.
Frank Pizzonia was added to the rogues' gallery of LIRR workers who claimed amounts of overtime that defy belief in a superseding indictment unsealed in Manhattan Federal Court.
Pizzonia's father is Dominick "Skinny Dom" Pizzonia, a hit man for John Gotti, court filings reveal.

ScotRail strike ballot called in new overtime pay row | The Scotsman
The Rail Maritime and Transport union (RMT) will seek backing for walkouts on Sundays and a ban on working on days off.
It follows an agreement between ScotRail and drivers' union Aslef for drivers to be paid extra for working on days off being extended from last month to October.
The practice was due to have been ended by the recruitment of more drivers, making "rest day" working unnecessary, but this has been put back by Covid restrictions delaying their training.
The Editorial Board: Erie County goes overboard, boosting pay for senior employees | Editorial |
Erie County Health Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein received $183,414 in overtime pay last year, according to County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw. That equals 91% of her base salary.
Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz has a problem on his hands. The amount of overtime being paid to senior employees is getting a bit out of control.

County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw, more former TV reporter than an actual comptroller, has latched onto yet another story. He once questioned the amount of overtime being paid to Health Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein – in the middle of a pandemic that demanded all hands on deck. At the time, the amount seemed reasonable, given the enormity of the task. But now? Not so much. The same goes for overtime earned for salaried Sheriff's Office administrators.
