Economic confidence fragile for accountants during global pandemic | Accounting Today
Accountants around the world are seeing the prospects for swift economic recovery slipping away amid a resurgence in COVID-19.
Expectations for an economic recovery rose late in 2020 as pharmaceutial companies began producing coronavirus vaccines, but the slow pace of the rollout due to manufacturing and distribution delays is likely to dampen optimism further.

"2021 will see recovery, but precisely when and how strong it will be is very uncertain. We anticipate a weak start, followed by a recovery gathering momentum through the second half. Art of Accounting: The future of the small accounting firm | Accounting Today
Barry spoke for over an hour and covered a wide range of topics. As when anyone hears a speaker, they relate better to some things than others. It doesn't mean everything isn't important; it just means that different people have different interest levels in different things. I have some "pet" interests, and when they come up, I seem to zero in on those more intently. That's what happened last Tuesday.
