Coolest Cooler, in final accounting, cost its Kickstarter backers more than $4 million -

Coolest Cooler was fast becoming a national sensation in 2014 when Susan Grossman first saw it on Good Morning America.

The novelty ice chest came with a built-in bottle opener, USB charger, LED lights, a wireless speaker and a blender for mixing drinks on the beach. It sounded like a delight and, at $200 apiece, Grossman decided she would buy one for herself.

Two receive inaugural Kenneth Chung Memorial Accounting scholarships | News | Jamaica Gleaner

Francis was one of two recipients of the inaugural Kenneth Chung Memorial Accounting scholarship last Friday. His son, Dennis Chung, said the scholarship is one of the ways the family of the late accountant hopes to honour his legacy.

"He was someone who was very serious about education and he was actually the one who funded the education for most of his siblings," said Chung, a chartered accountant.

RPM International Inc. and its general counsel and chief compliance officer, Edward Moore, have agreed to pay more than $2 million to settle the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's claims they violated accounting and disclosure rules.

RPM, a specialty coatings, sealants and building materials manufacturer, was under a Justice Department investigation from 2011 to 2013 that looked into whether the company had overcharged the government on some of its contracts, according to the SEC.

The T100 identified many areas in need of transformation, while acknowledging that the coronavirus pandemic has only heightened this urgency.
